Pakistan Thursday reviewed senior batsman Younis Khan in the 16-man squad for the one-day arrangement against England beginning in the not so distant future, regardless of reservations over his present structure.
The 37-year-old batsman was tossed from the one-day group after a poor voyage through New Zealand and 2015 World Cup in April, where he oversaw only 77 keeps running in six matches.
In any case, boss selector Haroon Rasheed said Pakistan would require his batting knowledge amid the four-match arrangement.
"Clearly his present Test structure is great and we require a senior batsman to balance out our center request batting," Rasheed said.
Younis has had a see-saw one-day profession of 264 matches, having scored just two hundreds in the most recent seven years, a record that has lead head mentor Waqar Younis and bolster staff to purportedly opposed selecting him.
Be that as it may, Rasheed guarding selecting Younis.
"It's not a retrogressive move on the grounds that we have a couple of intense arrangement coming up and we have to fortify our batting. It's dependent upon Younis to adjust to the present day needs of one-day cricket," said Rasheed.
The primary of four one-day matches begin in Abu Dhabi on November 11.
The squad has uncapped 20-year-old Zafar Gohar who bowls left-arm turn and bats in the lower request, supplanting Imad Wasim who is precluded of the one-day matches with damage.
Pakistan and England will likewise play three Twenty20 Internationals for which a squad will be reported later.
Azhar Ali will lead Pakistan's one-day group.
Squad: Azhar Ali (commander), Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shehzad, Younis Khan, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Yasir Shah, Wahab Riaz, Zafar Gohar, Mohammad Irfan, Rahat Ali, Anwar Ali, Amir Yamin and Bilal Asif.
