Barcelona pair Lionel Messi and Neymar were on Monday named on the shortlist for FIFA’s prestigious Ballon d’Or together with double reigning identify holder, Cristiano Ronaldo of actual Madrid.

Whilst Portuguese Ronaldo has triumphed over the past two seasons, Messi has formerly received the coveted award 4 times. Neymar makes the shortlist for FIFA’s international player of the year for the first time.
