South Africa to tour Australia, New Zealand next season


South Africa will play Australia and New Zealand, home and away, in 2016-17, Cricket South Africa has reported. They will likewise have Sri Lanka in every one of the three configurations, and Ireland for ODIs. 


South Africa commencement their 2016-17 season with a two-Test match arrangement against New Zealand in August. At that point they have Australia for five ODIs in September and October 2016, preceding making a complementary visit in November to play Tests. Sri Lanka will visit South Africa from December to February for three Tests, five ODIs and three T20Is, and a full visit to New Zealand will take after these arrangement, in February and March 2017.

South Africa's home arrangement against Australia will be gone before by a visit by Ireland, who will play one ODI each against the hosts and Australia.

"Playing against New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and Sri Lanka in one season will test the triumphant methods for our [team]," CSA CEO Haroon Lorgat said. "It will likewise give our fans the chance to watch them in real life at home in five Sunfoil Test matches, 11 Momentum ODIs and three KFC T20 International matches.

Cricket Ireland CEO Warren Deutrom was satisfied at the chance to play ODIs against South Africa and Australia. "Cricket Ireland is most thankful to Cricket South Africa and Cricket Australia for giving us this open door," he said. "These matches are correctly what [coach] John Bracewell was alluding to when he said we require more matches, all the more consistently, against the best players, in abroad conditions."
