Australian Open: Milos Raonic stuns former champion Wawrinka

Milos Raonic fought off an energetic rebound from fourth seed Stan Wawrinka to send the 2014 champion tumbling out of the fourth round of the Australian Open 6-4 6-3 5-7 4 6-3 on Monday. 

The 25-year-old Canadian, who had never beaten the French Open champion in four past gatherings, terminated 24 experts and hit 82 victors in the three hour, 44 minute challenge to achieve the quarter-finals for the second year in succession. 

Swiss Wawrinka battled once again from losing the initial two sets to drive a decider however was not able abstain from leaving a fabulous pummel before the quarter-finals interestingly since the 2014 French Open. 

Raonic fixed the triumph with a straightforward volley at the net to set up a quarter-last against France's Gael Monfils.
