The ICC has said it is "fulfilled" that Nepal Under-19 skipper Raju Rijal is qualified to play in the continuous World Cup in Bangladesh. The ICC expressed it "investigated the matter" and explored Rijal's archives, which had been put together by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) before the competition, and finished up there was no confirmation to propose that his date of conception – September 26, 1996 – was off base.
On Monday, the 25-year-old Mumbai cricketer Kaustubh Pawar had asserted that Rijal was overage, guaranteeing on online networking that he had played with Rijal then named Raju Sharma in an Under-15 competition. The ICC said it talked with the CEO of CAN, Rijal and Nepal group director Sudeep Sharma. The reports the ICC evaluated included duplicates of his identification and conception endorsement, issued by the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, and a marked age-determination presentation.
