Mohammad Nabi is set to leave the Pakistan Super League and connection up with the Afghanistan squad in front of their Asia Cup T20 qualifier conflict against United Arab Emirates in Fatullah on Friday.
Nabi, who made an unbeaten 12-ball 30, including a last-ball four to help Quetta Gladiators secure a thriller against Lahore Qalandars in Dubai on Tuesday night, played eight matches for the establishment. The previous Afghanistan skipper and allrounder will be supplanted by Nathan McCullum, the New Zealand offspinning allrounder, for the rest of the competition that finishes up on February 24.
McCullum, who declared his arrangements to resign from universal cricket toward the end of the 2015-16 seasom, last played for New Zealand amid the voyage through Sri Lanka in August 2015. He has been a standard part for Otago, who completed runners-up in the residential T20 rivalry, with McCullum completing the competition as the second-most elevated wicket-taker for his side.
