Snooker Championship from Feb 15 in Karachi

The 41st national Snooker Championship will be played in Karachi from February 15 and all the two finalists of the occasion will later speak to Pakistan in the Asian Snooker Championship. 

This was told by Alamgir Shaikh, head of the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association, amid a question and answer session here on Tuesday. 

He said that eleven players would partake in the title and they would be isolated into eight gatherings. 

Previous national champion Mohammad Yousuf has been given a wild passage while Hamza Akbar will safeguard his title in the occasion. 

In the mean time, Pakistan number one Mohammad Asif has been proclaimed top seed of the competition. 

The last will be played on February 27 and both the finalists will speak to Pakistan in the Asian Snooker Championship to be held in Doha, Qatar in April.
