South Asian Games: Pakistan edge India 2-1 in fierce encounter

Arslan Qadir scored two staggering objectives as Pakistan edged India 2-1 in a wild 2016 South Asian Games experience in Guwahati on Monday. 

In a match which delivered exciting runs and end to end hockey, Qadir place Pakistan in front in the eleventh moment after rehashed invasions by the Greenshirts into the Indian half. 

Qadir multiplied the lead with another field objective in the 37th moment and however has India hit back with an objective through Mandeep Antil in the 53rd, the Pakistan back line guaranteed there were no last minutes fiascos. 

With the win, Pakistan won its second amusement on the run at the Games and will go into their remaining matches with restored certainty. 

It was a decent day for Pakistan at the Games with Zaman Anwar winning the gold award in the 125 kg wrestling occasion while Pakistan's Mohammad Azad Butt won silver in the 74 kg wrestling occasion. 

Maria Toorpakai Wazir passed up a major opportunity for the top prize losing her ladies' squash last Joshana Chiappa (L) of India.
