Will have to pay penalty if we withdraw from World T20: Shaharyar

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan eliminated any confusion air in regards to Pakistan's investment in the World T20 by saying that the choice is anticipating Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's endorsement and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not undermined us with any legitimate activity.

"I just addresses the Prime Minister's secretariat today, and starting now, the legislature has not given us freedom to send the group to India for the World T20," said Shaharyar.

"Every one of these stories about the ICC undermining the board with legitimate activity or the Prime Minister having cleared the visit are not right. We have looked for guidance and leeway from the legislature to send our group to the world occasion. The Prime Minister's secretariat has said they are checking on the circumstance and will let us know soon," he included.

The PCB administrator further expressed that if there should be an occurrence of a withdrawal from the occasion, PCB will need to pay a punishment to the ICC. Be that as it may, he didn't unveil the sum.

"On the off chance that we haul out our group from the World T20 then we will need to pay a punishment to the ICC," said Shaharyar.

In the mean time, a solid source in the PCB cited by the Press Trust of India said that the administration was liable to clear the visit to India.

"It is a normal convention that the PCB is taking after yet every one of the vibes from the administration quarters is that the Prime Minister will give freedom for the group to go to India," the source said.
