Costa, Hazard injuries add up to Chelsea’s Champions League misery

Diego Costa and Eden Hazard both maintained wounds as Chelsea smashed out of the Champions League to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, interval chief Guus Hiddink affirmed after the diversion. 

Costa, Chelsea's objective scorer, limped off in no time before Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in the 67th moment to give PSG a 2-1 win on the night and complete a 4-2 total triumph. 

Danger left the brawl late on with a hip damage and was booed by a little number of Chelsea fans as he advanced over to the touchline to be supplanted by Oscar. 

"We'll check whether there is huge harm tomorrow (Thursday)," said Hiddink of Costa, who missed Saturday's 1-1 draw with Stoke City because of a minor tendon issue. 

"Diego was urgent to play today, despite the fact that he's not 100 percent fit. I don't know whether it turned out to be more regrettable. 

"I don't trust (think) that it's more terrible than it was before the Stoke amusement. Since in two days we need to play another diversion (against Everton in the FA Cup)." 

On the fans' booing of Hazard, Hiddink said: "Yes, they had the privilege to do what they think. You can express forever your sentiments. He was likewise having a tad bit of an issue with a late damage on the hip."
