Paramilitary forces to be deployed during Indo-Pak World Twenty20 cricket match, says Rajnath Singh

India's Home Minister Rajnath Singh said Friday that paramilitary strengths will be given to guarantee security to the March 19 World Twenty20 cricket match between India-Pakistan booked in Dharamsala. 

A cloud hangs over the marquee match in the middle of India and Pakistan in Dharamsala on March 19 with Himachal Pradesh's ex-servicemen challenging against the diversion in the wake of January 2 Pathankot fear assaults. 

Boss Minister Virbhadra Singh on Tuesday had composed a letter to the union home priest expressing that his administration can't give security to the match. 

The boss pastor had likewise said that war veterans of the state did not need the Indo-Pak match to be held in Dharamsala. 

"They are not restricting the holding of matches. They are against the Pakistan group playing in Himachal Pradesh," Singh had said. 

BCCI secretary and BJP MP Anurag Thakur said he was confident of the match happening in the slope station taking after his meeting with the Chief Minister. Pakistan Cricket Board boss Shaharyar Khan had additionally composed to BCCI looking for affirmation of idiot proof security to Pakistani players.
