Joshua to defend IBF title against Breazeale

IBF heavyweight best on the planet Anthony Joshua will make the main barrier of his title on 25 June against American Dominic Breazeale at London's O2 Arena. 

Breazeale, 30, has won each of the 17 of his expert battles, with 15 knockouts. 

Joshua, 26, won the title with a second-round stoppage of American Charles Martin on 10 April. 

"I am hoping to move beyond Breazeale in style and keep moving towards the unification battle everyone is sitting tight for," said undefeated Joshua. 

Breazeale, who is an inch taller than Joshua at 6ft 7in, is a previous Olympian and positioned thirteenth in the IBF rankings, underneath British pair Dereck Chisora and David Haye. 

Londoner Joshua, the 2012 Olympic super-heavyweight gold medallist,added: "It's certain to be hazardous, the two of us like to release our hands and score knockouts." 

English super-middleweights George Groves and Martin Murray will meet on the undercard in an eliminator session for the WBA crown. 

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn had said his warrior's next session was because of happen on 9 July at Wembley, however the arrangement was changed when Tyson Fury – the WBA, IBO and WBO heavyweight champion – declared his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko would occur on the same date in Manchester.
