Olympic cycling champion Hoy to enter Le Mans

LONDON: Six-time Olympic cycling gold medallist Chris Hoy is preparing for his greatest rush on four wheels subsequent to declaring on Thursday his entrance with Nissan in the current year's Le Mans 24 Hours sportscar race. 

The 40-year-old Scot will drive a Nissan-controlled Ligier in the second level LMP2 classification at the French continuance exemplary in June. 

"In motorsports terms, it's beginning and end. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the zenith for me. It's what I've been really going after in the course of recent years," said Britain's best Olympian. 

"To get the news that I have the seat for Le Mans is stunning. Despite everything I can't exactly trust it." he included.
