Arsenal win women’s FA Cup final in front of record crowd

Arsenal  Ladies beat London rivals Chelsea Ladies 1-0 in the last of the Women's FA Cup before an opposition record horde of 32,912 at Wembley on Saturday. 

Danielle Carter scored the main objective of the diversion with an amazing first half shot. Carter 22 went past Hannah Blundell on the left corner of the punishment region before twisting a shot past the scope of Chelsea goalkeeper Hedvig Lindahl following 18 minutes. 

Lindahl made a few decent spares as Arsenal neglected to get the second objective that would have put the outcome certain. 

Chelsea had various opportunities to balance and their best chance of the second half accompanied 20 minutes left when South Korean midfielder Ji-So Yun shot barely wide. 

Chelsea commenced having won four progressive matches in the Women s Super League.
